Anna Richey

Director of Public Engagement

Anna Richey is Director of Public Engagement at Apex. Anna's career has included managing local, state, and federal campaigns, and working in and around government for the better part of two decades. Before joining Apex in 2021, she worked in the nonprofit sector, leading energy policy development in rural Minnesota. This experience solidified a passion for clean energy and how it can contribute to the stability and revitalization of rural areas, particularly. Now, she oversees Apex's community outreach efforts in the western half of the country, as well as Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, directly. When she's not working, she's fishing Minnesota's abundant lakes and rivers.

David Reis

Public Engagement Associate

Raised on his family's fifth generation family farm in rural Southeast Illinois, David brings a diverse and balanced background to serving in Public Engagement with Apex Clean Energy on the Coles Wind project. After graduating with degrees from Lake Land College and the University of Illinois, David went on to manage his family's fifth-generation family farm and serve to 14 years in the Illinois House of Representatives. Through community involvement and partnerships David looks forward to the development of Coles Wind in a rapidly changing energy generation sector.
