Coles Wind Road Work Update 5-3-26 & 5-4-26

Large-scale dust coating runs close lines on 1800N, 1300E, 1700N, and 1400E links.

Busses and Local Residents within the road closures.Will be granted access.Scheduled work subject to change due to weather/site conditions.Road closed to thru traffic on 1500N from IL-130 to 1100E until 5/11/26. Road closed on 1800N from IL-130 to 1300E until 5/5/26 for laying A-1 dust control. Road closed on 1300E from 1800N to 1700N until 5/5/26 for laying A-1 dust control. Road closed on 1700N from IL-130 to 1300E until 5/8/26 for cement stabilization and cement cure. Road closed on 1800N from 1700E to 1820E culvert install A-10 and A-22. Road closed on 1400E from 1700N to 1500N until 5/13/26 for pre pulverization and cement stabilization. Road closed on 1600N from 1300E to 1500E for pre pulverization and cement stabilization. Flagmen will be used for any short-term partial lane closures while prepping for future culvert installs. Dirtworks will continue installing pipe culverts. Dunn Company will continue cement stabilization and pre pulverization. Evergreen will continue laying A-1 Dust Control and hauling in rock to the Welcome Center.
