Meet the Team

Julianna Pianelli is a lead developer for Coles Wind. She has a background in the oil and gas industry and joined the renewables industry in January of 2018. Julianna has helped develop and commercialize 500 MW of wind and is the lead developer for Apex's Kansas projects. Julianna is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management and a Finance minor. In 2019 she attained her Masters of Science in Energy Policy from John Hopkins University. In her spare time, Julianna enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors or spending time with family in her home state of Texas.   

Josh Hartke is a field manager for Coles Wind. Josh grew up on a farm near Effingham, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1997 with a degree in Economics. He has since been an environmental activist, a Champaign County board member, political organizer, and published author. He has had a lifelong commitment to the natural resources and beauty of his home state, and wants to help Apex build a new, clean energy future for Illinois.

 

David Reis Raised on his family's fifth generation family farm in rural Southeast Illinois, David brings a diverse and balanced background to serving in Public Engagement with APEX Clean Energy on the Coles Wind project.  After graduating with degrees from Lake Land College and the University of Illinois, David went on to manage his family's fifth-generation family farm and serve to 14 years in the Illinois House of Representatives.  Through community involvement and partnerships David looks forward to the development of Coles Wind in a rapidly changing energy generation sector.
